We are pleased to announce that Justin Welter has accepted the role of Threaded Rod –
Market Manager with Vulcan Steel Products, reporting directly to Brent Thorson, Sales
Manager.
Justin has a wealth of experience working in various management positions throughout the
country from Store Manager to District Manager. Including six years as VP of Operations with
a custom construction company in Long Beach, CA in which he led sales, scheduling, and
production teams. Justin has been with Vulcan this past year as our Regional Sales Manager
representing our Threaded Rod Products in an outside sales role. Justin is a quick study and
has had success retaining and growing our customer base. The Vulcan/SDI culture, work
ethic, and the spirit of continuous improvement is what Justin embodies and will continue to
help guide our Threaded Rod team at Vulcan.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife Violet, traveling, grilling, reading,
and target shooting. They also enjoy spending time with their pets, Minnie, a German
Shephard and Hannibal, an adopted rescue cat. A big sports fan, he cheers / sobs while
watching the Steelers, Penguins, and Penn State.
